Student nights and club nights in Lincoln this term, with every date taken from the venue's own listing

Two venues had a dated programme of student nights for this term that we could read from their own listings. The Engine Shed is the Students’ Union’s own venue on the Brayford Pool campus, and its weekly night is QUACK! on Wednesdays. Home, on Park Street in the city centre, lists Union Twosdays and The Superbull as its weekly student nights, plus Indie Thursdays and Saturdays at Home. Every date below was read from the venue’s own listing on 13 September 2026.

Two things worth knowing before Freshers week. Both venues run a big night on most evenings from 19 to 26 September, so some nights clash, and they are marked. And both the Students’ Union and Home sell a Freshers wristband that each calls official. They are different products from different organisers covering different nights, so check which events a wristband includes before you buy one.

  • QUACK! — Wednesdays, The Engine Shed, Weekly student nightThe Students’ Union calls QUACK! Lincoln’s biggest weekly student club night, and runs it on Wednesdays. The Freshers edition is a beach party on Wednesday 23 September, 10pm to 3am. Tickets and the current price are on the Students’ Union’s own QUACK! page.
  • Union Twosdays — Tuesdays, Home, Weekly student night4 Park Street, LN1 1UF. Home lists Union Twosdays as one of its two biggest weekly student nights. The Freshers edition is The Zoo Project on Tuesday 22 September.
  • The Superbull — Home, Weekly student nightHome’s other big weekly student night. Both editions dated so far are on a Friday: the Freshers night on Friday 25 September, the same night as Hybrid Minds at The Engine Shed, and Bulloween, the Halloween edition, on Friday 30 October.
  • Saturdays at Home, Weekly club nightListed every Saturday from 19 September through October: 19 and 26 September, and 3, 10, 17 and 24 October.

Getting there and getting fed afterwards

The Engine Shed is on campus; Home is in the city centre on Park Street. Where students live has walking times from each part of the city, and late-night food near campus lists the independent takeaways still serving after midnight, with closing times from their own ordering pages.

Every date was read on 13 September 2026 from the listing each venue publishes itself: The Engine Shed’s own events page and the Students’ Union’s Freshers pages for The Engine Shed, and Home’s own events page for Home. No date comes from a ticket aggregator or a what’s-on site. Ticket prices are included only where the venue’s listing showed one.

Home’s daytime parties and its over-30s day club are left off, because this page is about student and club nights. Other venues are not included because they did not have a dated autumn programme we could read from their own listings on the day we checked; that is not the same as saying nothing is on there. Listings change, especially during Freshers week, so check the venue’s own page before you go.
