Asian supermarkets in Lincoln, checked shop by shop
Three independent Asian supermarkets are currently trading in Lincoln: Asia Supermarket, Morning Sun Supermarket and Golden Leaf. Each is checked below against a dated source from the last two years, most from the last few months, rather than an old listing assumed still current.
None of the three has a page in our own Lincoln directory yet, which holds no supermarket category at all, Asian or otherwise. That is ours to fix, and it is a separate piece of work from this page: what follows is three shops looked up directly, on 8 September 2026, cited one at a time.
Asia Supermarket
Unit 3, The Junxion, St Mark Street, Lincoln LN5 7BA. Independent. Sells herbs, spices, fresh halal meat, and fruit and vegetables “from around the world,” with free parking on site. Inspected by the Food Standards Agency on 12 July 2024, and its Facebook page was still posting current stock (“Juicy Pakistani Mangoes have arrived”) when checked.

Morning Sun Supermarket
341A High Street, Lincoln. Independent. Its Facebook page showed a post four days old at the point of checking, on weekly fresh-produce arrivals, and the page itself was marked open.

Golden Leaf
24 Portland Street, Lincoln LN5 7JX (the Food Standards Agency lists 24 to 28 Portland Street). Independent, trading under Golden Leaf Oriental Food Store and also as Golden Leaf Chinese Supermarket, after relocating from Tentercroft Street. Inspected by the Food Standards Agency on 15 April 2024. Its own website is live with current hours, Monday to Saturday 10am to 6.30pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm, one listing noting it is closed on Tuesdays, and its Facebook page carries 949 likes and looked active when checked.

One name, confirmed closed
OKebuy Online Asian Supermarket, Unit 12, Blackwood Court, Teal Park Road, Lincoln, appeared in directory listings (Cylex, Wanderlog) with every sign of being an online-order or click-and-collect operation rather than a shop you can walk into. That was an open question when this page was first checked; it is not one any more. Confirmed permanently closed on Google, checked 8 September 2026. Named here as a citation, not a directory entry: it will not get a Highstreett page.
What this page does not do
It does not add any of these three to our directory, or check who owns them at Companies House. That is separate work, done shop by shop and shown on the business’s own page when it happens.
